Terms of Use
Contractual terms for access to and use of the entyrix.com REST API.
The Slovak version is the original. This English version is a translation; in case of conflict the Slovak version prevails.
1. Introductory provisions
These terms govern the rights and obligations between:
- the Provider: Inger s.r.o., a limited liability company (s.r.o.), company ID (IČO) 50178831, tax ID (DIČ) 2120217781, VAT ID SK2120217781, registered seat Azalková 6524/10, 974 01 Banská Bystrica, Slovak Republic, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Banská Bystrica, section Sro, file no. 29266/S; contact: [email protected] (the “Provider”);
- the User: a natural or legal person who registers for and uses the Entyrix API service (the “User”).
The Service is the REST API made available on the entyrix.com domain, containing data aggregated from the public registers of the Slovak Republic, the Czech Republic and other EU sources (the “Service”).
2. Definitions
- API key: an authentication token issued by the Provider that grants access to the Service.
- Source data: data originating from public registers (e.g. RPO, RUZ, FS, OV, CRZ, RPVS, ARES, EU/OFAC/UN/UK sanctions lists, GLEIF), subject to the licence terms of their respective operators.
- Aggregated data: data derived, processed or enriched by the Provider on top of the Source data (credit score, NIS2 scoping, risk flags, …).
3. Subject of the Service
The Provider grants the User access to the Service under these terms. The Service is provided “as is” (AS-IS) on the principles of open data.
4. Registration and API key
- Access to authenticated endpoints requires a valid API key issued by the Provider.
- The User must protect the API key against loss or misuse by a third party. The User is responsible for all requests made under their API key.
- If misuse is suspected, the User must inform the Provider without undue delay and request rotation of the key.
5. Permitted and prohibited use
Permitted:
- integrating the Service into internal processes (KYC/KYB, compliance, credit scoring, sales prospecting);
- displaying results to end users within the User's application;
- storing results in the User's own database solely for the purpose of the original request.
Prohibited:
- bulk downloading (mass scraping) of data beyond ordinary API use;
- reselling, distributing or publicly making available Source or Aggregated data to third parties without the Provider's prior written consent;
- circumventing security restrictions, rate limits or authentication;
- using the Service for purposes contrary to Slovak or EU law (in particular the GDPR, Act No. 18/2018 Coll. and Act No. 211/2000 Coll.);
- automated decision-making with a significant effect on a data subject without human oversight (Art. 22 GDPR).
6. Fees and tiers
Status as of 2026-04-24: the Service is available as a Free tier for registered developers with a rate limit of 600 requests per minute per API key. Paid commercial tiers (Starter / Pro / Business / Enterprise) are in preparation. The Provider will inform the User of changes to the tariff structure at least 30 days in advance by e-mail or on the status page.
7. Intellectual property and licence
Source data comes from public registers and open-data sources, and each source has its own licence. Licence terms differ between sources (e.g. CC-BY 4.0, ODbL, OGL, national open-data licences) — the binding and current list of licences and attribution requirements for each source is given in the source catalogue. The Provider makes no blanket licence statement across all sources; the User must comply with the licence terms of every specific source it uses, including any mandatory attribution.
Aggregated and derived data (credit score, NIS2 scoping, risk flags, enrichment) and the software layer of the Service are protected by the Provider's copyright. The User obtains a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them in accordance with these terms.
8. Limitation of liability
- Source data is derived from public registers, and its timeliness, completeness and accuracy depend on their operators. The Provider does not guarantee absolute accuracy, nor is it liable for decisions made on the basis of the data.
- The Service is provided “AS-IS” without warranties, in particular without any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement of third-party rights.
- The Provider is not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental damage, including loss of profit, loss of data or business interruption.
- The Provider's total cumulative liability to the User in connection with the Service is limited to the amount of fees the User paid to the Provider in the 12 (twelve) months preceding the claim. On the Free tier this amount is €0 and liability is limited to the Provider's obligation to restore the functioning of the Service.
9. Termination
- Either party may stop using the Service at any time without giving reasons. Paid plans end on the last day of the current billing period.
- The Provider may deactivate an API key immediately in the event of (a) prohibited use under clause 5, (b) suspected misuse, (c) repeated breach of the rate limit or (d) a legal obligation.
- On termination the parties' mutual rights cease, except for the provisions on intellectual property, limitation of liability and governing law, which survive termination.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. Disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms fall within the jurisdiction of the general courts of the Slovak Republic, with local jurisdiction determined by the Provider's registered seat, unless the parties agree otherwise.
11. Changes to the terms
The Provider reserves the right to change these terms. It will inform the User of material changes at least 30 days in advance by e-mail to the registered address or via the status page. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of them.
