What is Entyrix Check?
A free public lookup over our database of 51M+ European companies (21 markets: FR, GB, RO, SK, UA, CZ, BE, NO, IE, FI, CH, PL, AT, CY, LT, LV, EE, SI, ES, NL, HR; deep enrichment for SK + CZ). It shows the company ID, name, address, status (active/in bankruptcy), sanctions, tax reliability, tax debt, NIS2 scope and compliance tier (PROHIBITED/HIGH_RISK/ENHANCED_DD/STANDARD).
Where does the data come from?
Business register (RPO), Commercial Bulletin (OV), Financial Administration (FS), Social Insurance, health insurers, RPVS, CRZ, sanctions lists (EU/OFAC/UN/UK), GLEIF (LEI), ARES (CZ). All official open data + EU sanctions. Weekly refresh (Monday morning) + daily sanctions/FS refresh.
How is the compliance tier computed?
PROHIBITED = sanctions, bankruptcy, liquidation or debarment.
HIGH_RISK = restructuring, tax debt above €100k or a CZ unreliable VAT payer (§106a).
ENHANCED_DD = SK "less reliable" VAT payer (mitigable via §69 IBAN check), crime link or tax debt.
STANDARD = no red signals.
Is it free? Do I need an API key?
Public /check/:ico is free, no auth, share-able URL. Full data (financials, UBO, connection graph, CRZ contracts, NIS2 obligations, credit score) is via the authenticated API (Bearer token). Contact for a key.
What are "shell addresses"?
Addresses where 50+ companies are registered — a signal of tax-evasion / nominee-director risk. See the TOP 100 shell addresses.
What is NIS2 scope?
The EU cybersecurity directive NIS2 (SK act 366/2024) classifies companies as "essential" or "important" based on NACE code + size. 1,912 companies in SK + CZ are required to register in the NIS2 register.
